A day retreat is an opportunity to explore the deeper meaning of yoga and look at yoga can help us both on and off the mat. Our events are designed to be accessible to beginners while introducing different perspectives to regular students. You might join us to  learn a little more about the benefits of yoga for you. Perhaps you want to kick start a lapsed practice,  or delve a little deeper into yoga or wellness. Or you might simply want to spend a nature close to nature nurturing mind and body with like minded people.

Our Wellness Days are fully catered with vegetarian or vegan meals made with home grown ingredients and enjoyed in our relaxation area. For other events you have a option to bring your own lunch or you can buy a selection of vegetarian/vegan meals from our new honesty shop.

Whichever option you choose there will be is time to chat and share experiences between the morning and afternoon sessions.

If you wish to stay over, perhaps with a partner, there is the option of booking our stunning accommodation via  Whitby Log Cabins . There is a minimum stay of 2 or 3 nights in the cabins, but we may be able to offer a single night in The Garden Room in the house. And do check the calendar as you may be able to take in more than one event while you are with us.

There are so many reasons to spend a few nights at Valley View. You can enjoy our four acre site in ancient woodland. Mark will happily explain the permaculture garden and we love to introduce the menagerie. Then you can explored the local area. Whitby is an iconic seaside town as is Robin Hoods Bay and we are also in the North York Moors National Park
